Updated 4th June.

There are some people starting to ride their scooters in small groups, this must be done following the current government guide lines. The Wednesday night ride outs are still not running due to current guidance and pub closures.

Updated 20th March As below.

A message from the committee.
To all ticket holders for the lost and lonely club "start of season do" which has just been cancelled due to Mill Road Club having to close.
We will not be offering a refund due to the logistics and risk of possible infection to those involved.
We will be honouring the tickets for our next "DO" which will be as soon as things get back to normal. Mill Road Club have kindly offered the club a priority choice night when they open again.
As stated the tickets will be valid for the new night, but must be presented at the door on the night, saying you had purchased one will not be valid, so look after them.
Thanks on behalf of the club.

                                  About our club

Club Meetings:

Meetings are  now to be held at the Ingleby Arms in Amcotts.  We meet at 7.15pm, for 7.30 start in the winter, and 8.00 start in Summer. The first Tuesday of every month.

The Lost and Lonely Scooter Club is based in the Isle of Axholme, the area of North Lincolnshire to the West of the River Trent, between the towns of Scunthorpe, Gainsborough and Doncaster.

We are an informal club consisting of both male and female Lambretta and Vespa owners.

History of the club

The club was formed on the 7th of July 2007 when a chance meeting outside a Skegness pub brought together a number of old school friends and acquaintances from the "Isle", with a shared interest in scootering going back to the mid 70s. The Isle of Axholme`s Lost and Lonely scooter club started out with just five members:

Trevor Webster, the late Steve Burdette, Paul Young, Phil Palmer and Dean Baines.

We now have over 70 members, and growing - not a bad turnout for a few scattered villages (and adopted Scunthonians) from North Lincolnshire!

As for "Lost & Lonely", sorry, but there`s no real story behind the name! just something Steve came up with out of the blue.... and it stuck!

We arrange attendance to regional and national rallies / events when we hold our club meetings.  We also organise our own charity and social events.

New members are always welcome
